Fremlin & Laing

Also known simply as Little Italy, this neighbourhood is actually not an exclusively Italian neighbourhood. There is a strong Italian community, a large Portuguese population as well as neighbours from around the world, making this one of the most multicultural neighbourhoods in Toronto. Little Italy is a central neighbourhood bounded by Bathurst Street to the east, Bloor Street to the north, Dovercourt Road to the west and College Street to the south.

The majority of Little Italy's row-houses and attached Victorian homes were built between 1880 and 1910. These houses are set on narrow tree-lined streets with parking facilities located at the back of the property.
