An expert in Toronto neighbourhoods for more than 25 years, Duncan is a Broker at RE/MAX Hallmark, one of Canada's largest and most productive brokerages. As a former Property Tax Assessor, he evaluated hundreds of properties in the GTA and substantiated those values at Assessment Review Court. His ten-year professional music career as manager, performer and agent for his band Whiskey Jack involved contract negotiation and preparation of binding agreements.
Educated at York University (B.A.), University of Western Ontario & Appraisal Institute of Ontario, and Fanshawe College, Duncan is an Accredited Buyer Representative, a Certified Employee Relocation Specialist and an Accredited Senior Agent.
Recipient of RE/MAX Hallmark's Award of Excellence for "outstanding contribution to peers, community and business...", he's a Platinum and Lifetime Achievement Award winner. His volunteer work includes Woodgreen Community Services; past Vice Chair of both Access Community Capital Fund and Parents for Youth; Habitat for Humanity Global Village builds in India and Africa. He sponsors Don Vale Little League baseball (Fremlin's Gremlins) and performs at benefit concerts.
After her 30-year corporate career, Karen became a licensed realtor, Accredited Buyer Representative, and member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
Educated at University of Toronto (B.Sc.) and Royal Roads University (Dispute Resolution), she was formerly Deputy Ombudsman at Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments. This followed her Air Canada career with diverse management responsibilities including customer service, sales, human rights and employee relations.
A volunteer with WoodGreen Community Services, she facilitates English Conversation Circles, is an Advisory Committee member for their annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser, and sponsors Toy Drives. A former board member of CAP Aids and Parents for Youth, she has volunteered in local and international Habitat for Humanity builds and Out of the Cold.
